Inductee Year 2010
Diane Smith Robertson Cochran
While raising three children in Clarendon Hills, she effectively founded a real estate agency, and garnered many awards from her professional peers including the Million Dollar Club Lifetime Membership award from the National Association of Realtors. Diane has been active in no less than 20 community and charitable organizations, including the first female in the Clarendon Hills Lions Club. She was also a President of the Clarendon Hills Chamber of Commerce, and was elected a Village Trustee and is now in her sixth year on that job.

As a 30-year Director of the R.S. Kroehler/ Peter Friend Scholarship Committee at Hinsdale Central, she stays in touch with school events and hundreds of students and has aided many graduates facing the financial burden of college. Diane is also probably the most well-known member of her Class of 1959 because she has chaired no less than nine of her class reunions and is the glue that has kept that class bonding for the past 51 years.

Diane, now a doting grandmother, still lives in Clarendon Hills (where else ?) with her wonderful husband David, an attorney.
