Dorothy was a 1940 graduate of Hinsdale Township High School. She received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University in 1944. After much graduate education she earned the ED.D. from Northern Illinois University in 1981. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Robert C. Judd, and her daughters Patricia, Catherine, Deborah, and Nancy. A lifetime career devoted to education, Dorothy taught students at every level - elementary, secondary, undergraduate and graduate. She is the author of more than 30 journals and trade press articles, two monographs and two books on microcomputer use for educators. For her outstanding achievements in education she was recognized in Who’s Who in the Midwest, Who’s Who in the World and Who’s Who of American Women. In 1988, the Louisiana Association of Computer Using Educators named her Postsecondary Teacher of the Year. |
