Hinsdale Central High School

Hall of Fame

The Hinsdale Central Foundation Hall of Fame was established to recognize and honor those individuals who have set themselves above the rest through their accomplishments or service in the arts, athletics, business, education, public service or other endeavors.  These outstanding individuals bring much pride to Hinsdale Central and are wonderful role models for its student body and entire community.

Funds raised by the foundation throughout the year support the teachers grants program, encourage excellence by sponsoring key projects such as the J. Kyle Braid Leadership Program, and enrich student academic endeavors by creating and funding special programs such as Project Achieve that provides individualized attention and support to students who are struggling academically.

In addition, the foundation serves as a central clearinghouse for HCHS alumni and fosters an ongoing relationship between these alumni, the school, and the community at large.

The Hall of Fame Committee encourages you to nominate any person, whether a Hinsdale Central graduate or not, who has distinguished him or herself and exemplifies the values and traditions of Hinsdale Central.  Please be as specific as possible when submitting the application and include as much biographical information about the nominee as possible.

Inductees are selected in June of each year, and the Induction Ceremony is held in conjunction with Homecoming festivities of the same year.  Nomination forms for qualified individuals not selected in the current year will not be kept on file for consideration in subsequent years, but nominators are encouraged to resubmit applications.
