| J. Scott Cordin '63 was the first HCHS swimmer to win 4 individual State Championships. He was a high school All-American all 4 years, set State Records in the 200 and 400 freestyle and 2 National Records. He was co-captain of the 1963 State Championship team. In college he was a Big Ten, NCAA Champion and American Record holder at Indiana University. He was named to the All American Team in 1966 and 1967. |
